Who is this Trade Mission for?
This mission is targeted towards academic
researchers, IP lawyers, and potential investors who wish to experience and invest in real technology that has the potential to make real change in the world.

IP Transfer and Commercialisation
We live in a global world where technology is not bound by geographical borders. In this world, researchers in universities, hospitals and other institutions invent new technologies and find new, exciting, ways to use familiar ones. So how do we take these inventions and turn them into a business that can change the lives of billions of people around the world?

In this mission we will visit Israel's leading research institutes, as well as key players in the Israeli technological ecosystem, and will get familiar with the way IP is commercialized and then being transferred to other entities around the world.
​
We will meet people from Ramot - the Tel Aviv University IP company, from Hadasit, the company who commercialize the invention from Hadasa hospital, from Yeda - the Weizmann Institute IP company, from Yissum- the company of the Hebrew University, and participate in sessions and lectures regarding the transfer from academic research to commercial business.
​
In addition, we will visit the Old City in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Dead Sea to get a taste of the best sites and food Israel has to offer.

What is the IBCS
IBCS was founded to support and promote business and personal relationships within the Israeli business community of Sydney, to strengthen relations with Israeli companies operating in Sydney, and to promote relationships with other clubs and communities both within Australia and abroad.

IBCS encourages and supports members at all stages of business development. Among IBCS members are business people from Sydney and surrounding areas, as well as Israeli companies. Our members represent a range of different areas from Technology, Real Estate, Trade and Expertise, Agriculture Development, Medical, Communication, Legal and Accounting, Banking, Investment, Immigration, Art and others.
